The 2008 edition of the Indianapolis 500 represents Corvette’s 10th time as the official pace car – and a record fifth-consecutive year. As it was selected as the Official Pace Car, Corvette will produce a total of 500 pace car replicas in both coupe and convertible for worldwide distribution, with 25 allocated to Europe.
The car is available as Coupe (20 units) or Convertible (5 units) in the exterior color Black (41U), interior Perfored leather two tone color Black/Titanium Gray (846) and an automatic transmission. The Convertible top color is Gray (37T).
The Indy Pace Car contains a special selected package with unique features. A breakdown of the Indy pace Car’s unique content includes:
· New for 2008 polished five-spoke aluminum wheels
· Z06 rear spoiler
· Indy 500 Silver checkered flag graphics
· Indy 500 logo fender decals
· Indy 500 logo embroidered on the seats
· Each replica will be personally signed and numbered by Emerson Fittipaldi
